View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Barbara J. (Correia) Campbell, 66, of Hinsdale St., Swansea, died Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late Joseph W. Campbell who died in 1999.
Born on November 15, 1938, in Barnstable, she was a daughter of the late Antone and Mary Theresa (Martin) Correia. She was raised in Fall River and was a resident of Swansea since 1967.
She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1957.Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing needle-work and crocheting. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of several area bowling leagues.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Medeiros, and her husband Thomas, of Swansea, and Lisa Tortolini, and her husband Michael, of Newport Richie, Florida. A brother, Anthony Correia, of Florida, two grand-children, Matthew Tortolini, and Briana Tortolini, both of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours are Wednesday from 9-11 AM prior to the service. Flowers are welcome.
