Lucienne  (Lozeau) Savoie age 95 of 16 Wrentham Manor, Bellingham, MA died Monday, August 22, 2005 in the  Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, MA. She was the wife of the late Magloire Savoie. She was  born in St. Marcel, Province of Quebec, Canada on April 13, 1910 a daughter  of the late  Marcel and Lumina (Mercure) Lozeau.

She had lived in Bellingham since 1955 where she was a communicant of the Assumption Church and had previously lived in the Village of Manville in Lincoln for 25 years. She had been an assembler for the  ACS Industries in Woonsocket for eight years before retiring in 1963. She had been a member of the ladies of St. Ann of the Assumption Church and a member of the Harnois-Barnabe Arel Amvets Auxiliary  Post #7 of Woonsocket.  

She leaves  four sons Marcel Savoie of Wakefield, RI, Henry Savoie of Blackstone, MA, Leo Savoie of Pascoag, RI and Roger  Savoie of Woonsocket,RI.  Two daughters G. Helene Rench-Reardon of North Attleboro and Rita Nichols of Ashfort, CT. 24 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and  many nieces and nephews. She was  the  mother of the late Emelda  Ledoux and Theresa  Savoie and the sister  of the late Emelda  Ducharme and Elphege Lozeau.

Funeral Information

Her  Funeral will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 10 AM  from The Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket followed  by a Mass of  Christian  Burial at 11 AM in St. Blaise  Church, 1158 South  Main St. Bellingham, MA.  Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Jean the  Baptist  Cemetery, West Wrentham Road, Bellingham.
Calling hours are Thursday, Auguts 25, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM.
