View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Yvonne (Adam) Kissik age 93 of Pound Rd. Cumberland died Sunday, August 21, 2005 in the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late John Kissik. She was born in the Manville Section of Lincoln on January 22,1912 a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosealba (Ross) Adam. She was the step daughter of the late Elizabeth Adam.
She had lived in Cumberland for the past 69 years having lived and grown up in Manville where she was a Communicant of St. James Church. She had been a Weaver for the former Manville Jencks Mill and a Nurse’s aide for the Cumberland Sanittarium and later was an Inspector at the American Touristor Co. in Albion. After retirement she was a Foster Grandparent with the Head Start Program.
She leaves two sons John O. and Richard L. Kissik both of Cumberland. Three daughters Therese E. Haworth and Suzanne Farrell both of Cumberland and Lorraine E. Wilcox of Coventry,RI. Thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lionel Adam.
Funeral Information
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 9 AM from THE Menard Funeral Home, 71 Central St. Manville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will be in the family lot in St. James Cemetery in Manville.
Calling Hours are Wednesday, August 24, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM.
