Elizabeth A. "Beth" Gaulin-Cameron, 45, of Newport Ave., South Attleboro, died Friday, August 5, 2005 in Plymouth, New Hampshire, after being stricken ill while vacationing in the Newfound Lake area. She was the wife of James J. Cameron, of South Attleboro.
Born on January 3, 1960, in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Richard P. and Frances L. (Proulx) Gaulin.
She was raised in Attleboro and lived in Carver for 15 years before returning to Attleboro. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Kingston. She also attended Bridgewater State College. She worked as a customer service representative for NG & G Facilites Company in Lincoln, RI, for several years. She was very active with the Boy Scouts for over 20 years. She enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping, boating, trips to New Hampshire, and horses.
She was a member of the Bethany Village Fellowship and volunteered many hours of service to the church and to those who are served through the efforts of the church’s programs. She took great satisfaction in helping to prepare many holiday meals for people in the area.
Beth will be remembered for her courage, endurance, humor, and most of all her deep faith, she evidenced during her many years of illness.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jenipher Cameron, and Jamie Cameron, both of Attleboro, four sons, Bradley Weidner, and his wife Katie, of Attleboro, Shawn Cameron, of Foxboro, Nicholas Cameron of Attleboro, and James H. Cameron, of Attleboro. A grandson, Brian Weidner, of Attleboro. Three sisters, Jennifer Cochrane, of Attleboro, Melissa Eagles, of Auburn, MA. and Amy Shorey, of Warren, RI., two brothers, Paul Gaulin, of Middleboro, and Christopher Gaulin, of Attleboro. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her funeral service Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Bethany Village Fellowship, 516 Newport Ave. (Rte. 123), South Attleboro, with the Rev. Daniel Dore, pastor, officiating. Calling hours are Wednesday, August 10, 2005 from 4:00-8:00 pm in the FOLEY CHAPEL of the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro (Rte. 152). A private committal service will be held at a later date.
