Fred Hallas., 95, of the Adams House in Fall River formally of Stafford Rd., in Fall River for many years passed away at the Adams House on Wednesday, August 3, 2005. He was the husband of forty years to the late Ruth (Johnson) Hallas. Born in Ossett, England the son of the late Abel and Lucilla (Hainsworth) Hallas. Mr. Hallas worked as a line worker for former Fall River Electric Light Company for many years retiring in 1970. He was a member of the First Baptist church, choir member, chairman of the music committee, Sunday evening club, and the United Parish Bowling league. Survivors are three nephews Gordon Ashworth of Rochester, MA Dana Hall of Minneapolis, Minnesota Donald Hall of Eaton, New Hampshire. He was the brother of the late Mary Hall and Clara Ashworth Funeral InformationHis funeral service will be on Friday, August 5, 2005 at 11am in the Adams House 1168 Highland Ave., Fall River with Calling Hours from 9am-11am prior.
