Jason "Jay" E. King, 29, of Hopkinton and Dartmouth died unexpectedly, Saturday, July 2, 2005. Born October 7, 1975 in Providence, RI the son of Steven King of Hopkinton and Mary Rose (Marshall) Richards of Dartmouth, he grew up in Hopkinton and had lived the past three months in Dartmouth.

Mr. King worked for six years as a job supervisor for Bell Construction and also Fontana Kitchens. He loved fishing and spending time with his son.

He is survived by his father and his wife Joanne of Hopkinton and his mother and her husband Robert of Dartmouth; a son, Zachary King of Bellingham; his maternal grandfather, Sam Marshall of Dartmouth; his paternal grandmother, Jane Beauparland of New Bedford; his step grandmother, M. Rena Nelson of Upton; a foster brother, Michael Field of Framingham; a step brother, Shawn Richards of Delray Beach, FL; a sister, Kelly Reil of Foster, RI; two step sisters, Christina Ruphecht of Dartmouth and Deanna Vogal of Plymouth; many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

His funeral service will be Friday, July 8, 2005 at 9:00 AM in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven. Interment will be in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 7, 2005 from 4-8 PM.
