Mary E. Tolley., 60, of Carpenter Lane., in East Freetown passed away Tuesday June 28, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River she was the former wife of Harvey J. Bigelow of Westport, MA Born in Fall River, MA on March 13, 1945 the daughter of the late Alfred and Rita (Collins) Tolley

She was a graduate of Apponequit High School, and then worked as the office manager for over twenty years for Dr. Schneider in the Truesdale Clinic, she then went on to work for ASPECTS Company in Warren, RI as the office manager for several years.

Mrs. Tolley was a member and Hall of Fame inductee of the Assonet Athletic Association, she was a softball coach and player in Assonet and was involved with the Blooperball softball team, she enjoyed riding horses and spending time with her family.

Survivors beside her former husband are a daughter Cynthia L. Generazzo of Middleboro, MA a son Dennis J. Bigelow of Rehoboth, MA two sisters Isabel Sayers of Orange Beach, Alabama Paulette Brown of Venice, Florida two brothers Alfred Tolley of Millis, MA Earl Tolley of Punta Gorda, FL three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Sylvia Silvia and Louis David Tolley .

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 10am in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial is Private & Flowers are Omitted. Calling hours with Video Photo Album are Thursday from 5-8pm.
