Gordon Warren

August 22, 1928 - June 24, 2005

Gordon Warren, 76, of Meridian St., Fall River, died Thursday at his residence in Fall River. He was the husband of 54 years of Janice (Kay) Warren. Born on August 22, 1928 in Fall River, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Pimblett) Warren. He was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mr. Warren was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served as a Fall River police officer for over 32 years, retiring in 1986. Following his retirement from the police department he worked as a security officer at Tillotson Rubber Company. He was a life member of the Fall River Lodge of Elks # 118.

Survivors beside his wife of fifty four years are a daughter, Kimberly Paul, of Fall River, and three sons, Mark Warren, of Somerset, Bradford Warren, of West Bethel, Maine, and Andrew Warren, of Somerset. Six grandchildren, Christopher Warren, of Fall River, Timothy Warren, of Canton, Jason Warren, of Somerset, Ryan Paul, of Fall River, Cameron Warren, of Somerset, and Regan Warren, of Somerset. He was the brother of the late John Warren and Henry Warren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Calling hours are Monday, June 27, 2005 from 4-8pm in the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River (508) 673-0781. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 10am in the Funeral Home with burial to immediately follow with MILITARY HONORS in Oak Grove Cemetery Fall River.
