William A. Allard

August 21, 1938 - June 16, 2005

William A. Allard age 66 of Grant St. Attleboro died Thursday, June 16, 2005 in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the husband of the late Katherine R. (Bartlette) Allard. He was born in Attleboro on August 21, 1938 a son of Mary Ann (Salvas) Allard of Attleboro and the late Axzarias Allard.

He was a life long resident of Attleboro, a former member of St. Joseph’s Church of Attleboro, and a communicant of St. Stephen’s Church in Dodgeville. He had been a self employed TV repairman at his home workshop and later worked as a Press Operator for the Apco-Mossberg Company of Attleboro for 15 years and then worked as a Foreman in the Press Department of the Tru-K Company of Lincoln, RI for 20 years before retiring in January 2005. He was devoted to his dog Bear and loved to play Keyboard Music.

Besides his mother he leaves two sons William A. Allard of Attleboro and Michael T. Allard of Providence, RI and one brother Phillip Allard of Attleboro. Two grandchildren Kerrin R. and Kelli L. Allard both of Attleboro and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Anita Horne.

Funeral Information

His Funeral will be held on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 9 AM from the FOLEY CHAPEL of the FOLEY-COOK-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOMES,126 South Main St. (Route 152), Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by the Rev. James Morse will be held at 10 AM in St. Stephen’s Church, 683 South Main St. in the Village of Dodgeville in Attleboro. Burial will be in the Family Lot in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours on Sunday from 5 to 9 PM.
