Rose A. (Provencal)  Hawksley  age 87  of Lake Worth Road, Lake Worth, FL died  Friday June 10, 2005 in the Rehab Center of the Palm Beaches In Palm Beach Florida.  She was born in Webster, MA on May 5, 1918 a daughter of the late  Aimee J. and Rose Delima (Berger) Provencal.

She was  the  wife of the late Charles E. Hawksley and  had lived in Woonsocket for many years before  moving to Florida where she was a communicant of Sacred Heart  Church in Lake Worth. Mrs. Hawksley had been a Seamstress for the former  Woonsocket  Dress Company for several years before retiring in 1979.  

She leaves  one  son  Edward  C.  Hawksley of  Woonsocket and one daughter Carol R. LaChance of West Palm Beach, FL.  One  brother  Adelard  Provencal of Woonsocket  and  one sister  Angelina  Nantelle  of  North Smithfield.  Seven grandchildren and  several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was  the  sister of the late Albert Provencal, Rosalie  Masse, Louise Courtemanche and  Victoria Desplaines.

Funeral Information

Her  Funeral will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2005  at  9 AM from THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME,  127  Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket followed  by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Precious Blood Church, 94 Carrington Avenue. Burial will follow in the family  lot in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Wednesday, June 15, 2005 from  2-4 and 7- 9.
