NEW BEDFORD–Bonnie C. Gobell, 62, of New Bedford died Monday, May 30, 2005 in the New Bedford Rehabilitation Hospital.
Born August 15, 1942 in New Bedford the daughter of Lena (Carrera) Gobell of New Bedford and the late Paul S. Gobell, she grew up in New Bedford and returned to the city after 20 years in the service.
Ms. Gobell graduated from New Bedford High School and the University of Massachusetts. She worked as a Mathematic Instructor at the U Mass of Dartmouth. Ms. Gobell served in the United States Air Force having spent time in Germany, Florida, and Ohio as a Squadrin Commander. She enjoyed knitting, puzzles, and classical music. She especially enjoyed teaching math. She was a member of the Air Force Association.
She is survived by her mother; a brother, Paul R. Gobell and his wife Jane of Kingston, MA; a sister, Jane Felsman and her husband John of Norwalk, CT; and one niece and three nephews.

Funeral Information

. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Friday, June 3 at 10:00 AM in the DONAGHY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford. Interment will be in Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
