David M. George

David M George, 64 years, formerly of Taunton, died on May 25, 2005 in Tufts New England Medical Center Boston after an illness of 6 months.  He was born in Fall River to George and Amelia (Daher) George.  

He was  graduate of Coyle High School in Taunton Class of 1958 and also graduated from U Mass Dartmouth, Penn State University and University of Conn.  
He was retired after 36 years as a mathematician/computer scientist at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI . He was also a adjunct professor of mathematics at Bristol Community College.  He was a communicant of St Anthony of the Desert Church in Fall River. He was a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Assoc.; Mass Teachers Assoc.; National Education Assoc.;National Apostalate of Maronites and the Order of St Sharbel.  

He is survived by his wife Karen L (Malone) George, a daughter Kathleen George and a son David George,Jr all of Dighton, 2 sisters Patricia Zani of OH and Sandra Bankert of Raynham,. An aunt Alice Assad of Lawrence and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Visiting hours on Monday, May 30, 2005 in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (route 138 south) Taunton .  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Anthony of the Desert Church, 300 Eastern Ave. Fall River on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 10AM.  Interment in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Taunton,MA
