January 22, 1914 - May 22, 2005

Everett Fiore., 91, of London Street in Fall River passed away Sunday May 22, 2005 at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River he was the husband of the late Anita M. (Simon) Fiore. Mr. Fiore was born in Fall River, MA on January 22, 1914 the son of the late Constantino "Gus" and Mary (Dellebarca) Fiore.

He was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1932, and the former Bradford Durfee Technical School class of 1934. During WWI he was a commander of Flotilla 714 with the United States Coast Guard based in Fall River, he then went to work - for thirty seven years - at Staples Coal & Oil Company in Fall River as the supervisor of operations. He then worked at Globe Manufacturing in the maintenance department for seventeen years before retiring in 1985. Mr. Fiore was a member of the Church of Our Saviour in Somerset for many years and also was very involved with the Masons throughout the southern New England area. He was past master of the former Massasoit Narragansett Lodge AF & AM, past master lodge of instruction in Fall River, Past Monarch Azab Grotto in Westport, MA member of Fall River Royal Arch Chapter, Fall River Council of Royal and Select masters, the Godfrey de Bouillion Commandary of the Knights Templar of Fall River, also the Rhode Island Temple of the Shrine, past grandmaster of the Grand Lodge Independent Order of Odd Fellows Manchester Unity USA, past noble grandmaster of the Loyal Unity Lodge IOOFMU in Fall River, past vice president of the former Bay State Citizens radio club in Fall River, member of the Fall River Amateur radio club call #WAIBYB, former member of the Fall River American Red Cross Disaster team.

Survivors are a sister Lydia Taylor of Fall River, MA two grandsons Douglas E. Fiore of Swansea, MA and Michael J. Fiore of Charlotte, NC and two great granddaughters Isabelle A. and Emma L. Fiore both of Swansea, MA and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Everett Louis. Fiore and brother of the late Daniel and Louis Fiore

Funeral Information

His funeral service will be on Friday, May 27, 2005 at 10am in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery Fall River. Call ing hurs are Thursday, May 26, 2005 from 4-7pm.
