J.B. " Barbara " (Connell) Otis of St. Joseph Street, Fall River, died Saturday, May 21, 2005 at home. She was the wife of the late Alfred R. Otis.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Wesley S. & Dorace M. (Spencer) Connell Sr.

She was a homemaker. She has lived in Fall River all her life, was a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church, she was a volunteer at Charlton memorial Hospital for 12 years, she enjoyed knitting, loved to travel, and loved her cats.

She is survived by a brother Wesley S Connell Jr of Fall River, 3 nephews, a niece and great niece, and a great great Niece. She was the sister of the late Jon S. Connell, and also the late Ann Louise Romano.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2005 at 9:00 am from the Hebert-Hathaway Funeral Home, 945 S. Main St., Fall River, MA, followed by a Requeim Eucharist at 10:00 am in St. Mark Episcopal Church 125 Mason St., Fall River, burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours are Monday, May 23, 2005 from 4- 7 pm
