William E. Therrien age 80 formerly of Manton Street, Pawtucket died Saturday, May 21, 2005 in the Charlesgate Nursing Home in Providence. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Binet) Therrien. He was born in Woonsocket on February 22, 1925 a son of the late John B. and Diana (Bourgois) Therrien. He had served as a Second Class Gunners Mate in the U. S. Navy during WW II serving on Various Destroyers and PT Boats in the Phillipines. He was a member of the VFW Post #498 in Blackstone, MA. Mr. Therrien had owned and operated the former Bill Bargain Center in Woonsocket for many years before he retired in 1986. Later he was a Driver for the Leon Mathieu Senior Center in Pawtucket. He leaves one son Raymond W. Therrien of Pawtucket and four daughters Elaine Robinson of Westerly, RI, Judy Wallis of Phoenix, AZ. Barbara Blakely of Providence and Connie Plante of Pascoag. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. One brother Wilfred Therrien of East Blackstone, MA. Funeral InformationThe Funeral and Burial will be Private.
