Daniel Oliveira

March 24, 1904 - April 13, 2005

Daniel Oliveira.,101, of Amity Street in Fall River formerly of South Main Street in Fall River, passed on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Southpointe Nursing Center in Fall River. He was the husband of the late Alexandrina (Pacheco) Oliveira.

Born in Portugal on March 24, 1904 the son of the late Francisco and Maria (da Encarnacao) Oliveira, he was the former owner of Daniel Radio & Television in Fall River for many years, he also worked as a correspondent for the Portuguese Daily News out of New Bedford, MA and he was the former vice president of the Portuguese Continental Union.

He is survived by a son Daniel Oliveira of Swansea, MA a daughter Lucille Dube of Fall River, MA three sisters Ricardina Oliveira and Irene Gomes of Portugal and Julia dos Santos of Brazil four grandchildren seven great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Daniel “Bert” Oliveira.

Funeral Information

Mr. Oliveira's funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 9am in the Hebert-Hathaway Funeral Home, 945 S. Main St., Fall River, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow Notre Dame Cemetery.
