Henry W. Voyer 65 of Bouvier Ave., Manville section of Lincoln, Husband of Lorraine M. (Laprade) Voyer  for the past 42 years, died Tuesday,  April 12, 2005 in V.A. Medical Center, Providence.

Born January 1, 1940 in Woonsocket to the late Henry and Florence (Carpentier) Voyer. Mr. Voyer worked as a machinist for Waters Co. in Milford,Ma. For 19 years retiring in 2002. He was an Air Force Veteran and a communicant of St. James Church, a parachutist in the Phorty Society in Danielson, CT. Mr Voyer was a member and treasurer of the Rhode Island Old Timers Hockey League in North Smithfield. He was also a pilot instructor for Sky Lane at North Central Airport in Lincoln. He was a member of the former Telstars Drum & Bugle Corps. of Manville and a Civil Air Patrol member in North Smithfield. He was a Coach for the Lincoln Amateur Hockey Association.

Besides his wife, Lorraine, Mr. Voyer  also leaves 3 Sons Roger H. of Burrillville, Robert M. of Blackstone, MA and Raymond G. Voyer of Smithfield. One Brother Jack Voyer of Mississippi, and one sister Francoise Phaneuf of Mapleville. 3 Grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral Information

Mr. Voyer's funeral will be held Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 9.00 A.m. from Menard Funeral Home 71 Central St, Manville With a Mass of Christian Burial at 10.00 A.m. in St.James Church 33 Division St.  Burial in St, James Cemetery with Military Honors at a later date.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Friday, April 15, 2005 from 4-8 PM.
