Sandra F. “Sandy” (Terranova) Ball, 59, of Messenger St. Plainville, died Monday at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. She was the fiancé of Roger P. Chevers of Plainville.

Born on July 15, 1945, in Fulton, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Sroka) Terranova. She was raised in Fulton, New York and was a graduate of Casanova College in New York. After college she served a volunteer year with the VISTA program in Oregon.

Sandy was a resident of Attleboro for over 30 years, and had lived in Plainville for the past 10 years.

She worked as an inspector for the VH Blackington Company. She also worked as secretary at the LaSallette Shrine. Sandy was an active participant in the Attleboro Community Theatre. Her true passion was comedic acting. She was a part of the SRO players in Attleboro. She enjoyed arts and crafts, traveling, and collecting antiques. Giving of herself and sharing her time and talent with others was one of Sandy’s hallmarks.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer, and Michael, Kosticzak, of Brockton, and Jennifer’s brothers, Troy and Brent Lambert, both of Attleboro, a brother, Anthony Terranova, of Renton, Washington, her best friend, Alma Perry, and her husband, Brian, of Attleboro, and several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Sandy’s Life Friday, April 15, 2005 at 7:00 pm in the Foley-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro (508) 222-0498. Calling hours will be from 4:00-7:00 pm prior to the service.
