View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Shirley H. ( Goyette) Jolicoeur, 79 of New River Road, Manville died Monday, April 4, 2005 at Landmark Medical Center Woonsocket. She was the wife of Emile P. Jolicoeur, for the past 35 yrs. She was born May 28 1925 in Uxbridge Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Clifford & Florence ( Whitehead) Goyette.
She had worked in the Housekeeping Department of the former Fogarty Memorial Hospital North Smithfield for 3 years before retiring in 1974. She had also worked at the former Healthtex Company of Cumberland RI. She has lived in Manville for last 25 years coming from Woonsocket.
Besides her husband she is survived by 3 sons Gordy Williams of Mendon Ma., Robbi Williams of Webster MA, Chad Williams of East Providence RI, a brother Roger Goyette of Ledyard Connecticut, 4 sisters Leona Montgomery of Medson California, June Gilbert of Whitinsville Ma, Betty Davis of Sutton MA, Mary Nelson of Bellingham MA, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Clifford Goyette.
Funeral Information
Mrs. Lolicoeur's funeral will be held Friday, April 8, 2005 at 9:00am from the Menard's Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, RI, with a service in the funeral home at 10:00am, burial will follow in RI Veteran’s Cemetery Exeter RI. Calling hours are Thursday, April 7, 2005 from 4 – 8 pm.
