Doris M. Baldia

April 26, 1931 - March 29, 2005

Doris M. (Holleran) Baldia., 73, of Gardners Neck Road in Swansea passed away Tuesday March 29, 2005 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Henry J.A. Baldia.  Mrs. Baldia was born in Fall River, MA on April 26, 1931 the daughter of Mary L. (Terriel) Holleran of Fall River, MA and the late James F. Holleran,  

Mrs. Baldia worked as an assembler for Plastic Mold Engineering Company in East Porvidence, RI for many years and then went on to work for Data Packaging in Somerset for many years until she retired in 1994.  She was a communicant of Saint Dominic Church in Swansea and enjoyed reading, animals, art work and enjoyed oil painting.

Survivors beside her mother  are a daughter Doris M. Parker of Fayetteville, NC a son David M. Baldia of Fall River, MA a sister Theresa Marcille of Concord, NH two brothers Thomas F. Holleran of Berkley, MA Joseph P. Holleran of Swansea, MA two grandchildren Jamie B. Allen of Fayetteville, NC and Ross M. LeFrancois of Worcester, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Mrs. Baldia's funeral will be held on Monday, April 5, 2005 at 10am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11am in Saint Dominic Church, 1277 GAR HGWY., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, Burial is private. Calling hours with video tribute album are Sunday, April 3, 2005 from 3-6pm.
