Esther G. Kingsley

September 23, 1913 - March 27, 2005

Esther G. Kingsley, 91, of Highland Ave. Fall River, formerly of Swansea, died Sunday at the Adams House in Fall River.

Born on September 23, 1913, in Swansea, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Lena (Peckham) Kingsley. She was a lifelong resident of Swansea, before moving to Fall River in 2000.

She worked as a senior clerk for the former Fall River Electric Light Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Fall River for many years. She was a member of the Country Garden Club of Swansea.

Survivors include a sister, Marian Easterbrooks of Swansea, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edna K. Dore and the late Julia Kingsley.

Funeral Information

Ms. Kingsley's funeral service will be Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea. Calling hours will be Saturday from 10:30 -11 AM prior to the service.
