Louis Pavao, 82 of 235 North Street, Somerset, MA died Friday, April 21, 2006 at home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Margaret (Gonsalves) Pavao. Born May 4, 1923 in Somerset, MA he was the son of the late Manuel And Constantina “Mary” Medeiros Pavao.

Mr. Pavao had been a Foreman for the Maintenance Department at Charlton Memorial Hospital for 15 years. He enjoyed gardening and was a avid farmer. He was a member of Saint Patrick's Church in Somerset, MA..

He leaves three son's Louis Pavao Jr., of North Kingstown, RI; Kenneth Joseph Pavao of Ellicott City, Maryland; Stephen Pavao of Tiverton, RI; one daughter Nancy Baker of Somerset, MA; one brother Joseph Pavao of Dighton, MA; three sisters, Melvina Medeiros of Swansea, MA; Ida Munoz of California, Martha Mello of Somerset, MA; five grandchildren, 2 step grand children, 1 step great grand son, Mr. Pavao was the brother of the late Mary Medeiros, Marie Souza, Manuel Pavao, Emma Cordeiro, Leita Medeiros, Victor Pavao, David Pavao, George Pavao.

Funeral Information

His funeral will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 8:30 am from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., SOMERSET to be followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 in Saint Patrick's Church, 306 South Street, Somerset, burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, county street. Calling hours and video tribute will be held Monday, April 24, 2006 from 4-8 pm in the funeral home.
