View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Lucille L. (Desrosiers) Becotte, 86, of Fairhaven died Thursday, January 26, 2006 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She was the widow of Armand Becotte.
Born August 13, 1919 in New Bedford the daughter of the late Hector and Yvonne (Letourneau) Desrosiers, she moved to Fairhaven in 1956. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven.
Mrs. Becotte was a home maker. She was a member of the Fairhaven Mother's Club and enjoyed needle point and reading.
She is survived by a son, Armand “Skip” Becotte, Jr. of Fairhaven; a son-in-law, Russell LeBlanc; eight grandchildren: Jennifer Furtado, Lisa Lariviere, Jeffrey Becotte, Bryan Becotte, Cheryl Silva, Denise Medeiros, Louise Cruz and Marc LeBlanc; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Pauline Becotte LeBlance; the mother-in-law of the late Sheila Becotte; the sister of the late Roland Desrosiers and the late Rita Soucy.
Funeral Information
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at 9:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven. Inurnment will be in River-Side Cemetery, Fairhaven.
