View Tribute and Sign Guestbook NEW BEDFORD – Cora (Beaulieu) Indio, 90, formerly of the Taber Mill Apartments in New Bedford, died on Saturday, November 24, 2007, at the Sacred Heart Home in New Bedford. She was the widow of Arthur Indio. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Phillipe and the late Malvina (Bernier) Beaulieu, she lived all of her life in the city and was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church where she belonged to the senior’s group.
Mrs. Indio had worked at the Soule Mill and also Lester May Clothing Manufacturers in New Bedford.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Rosemary Indio of South Yarmouth; a sister, Irene Beaulieu of New Bedford; three grandchildren, John “Jack” Indio and his wife Kelly, Joselyn Perry and her husband Tom, and Jennifer Correia and her husband Joe; four great-grandchildren, Quinn and Rylie Indio and Cody and Devon Perry. Mrs. Indio was the mother of the late Robert Indio and the sister of the late Alfred, William, Wilfred, Raymond and Floretta Beaulieu and Yvonne Wisniewski.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at 7:30AM from THE DONAGHY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Acushnet Ave., New Bedford. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery #2, New Bedford. Calling hours are omitted.
