Georgina L. (McIntyre) Hathaway

FALL RIVER – Georgina L. (McIntyre) Hathaway, 79, of North Main St., Fall River, died Monday, March 30, 2009, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, a daughter of the late Peter Q. & Alexandrina (Lindsay) McIntyre, she was the former wife of the late William C. Hathaway.

Mrs. Hathaway was a travel agent for the Leisure Travel Company of Fall River for over twenty years before retiring in 2001. A Fall River resident since 1976, coming from Lakeville, Winthrop, MA, and originally from Scotland, she liked to travel.

Mrs. Hathaway leaves two sons, Alan S. Hathaway of Swansea and Glen S. Hathaway of Hollywood, Florida; a sister, Mabelle Thornton of England; four grandchildren, Alan S. Hathaway, Jr., Heather Mae Hathaway, Dakota Hathaway, and Ian Hathaway.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 8:00PM in THE HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6:00-8:00PM, prior to the funeral. Burial will be private.
