Paul W. Gelzinis

Paul W. Gelzinis, 54, died Sunday at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after a brave battle with cancer. He was the husband of Carol A. Nagle. Born in Waltham and son of Beverly (Averill) Gelzinis of Ocala, FL, and the late Edward P. Gelzinis, he was a resident of North Dighton for the past 7 years with a prior residence in Swansea. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Gregg N. Gelzinis, Timothy M. Gelzinis and Jenna B. Gelzinis; and a sister, Nancy Gelzinis of Texas.

Paul attended Northeastern University and worked in a variety of roles in broadcasting, becoming general manager of local radio station WSAR in the1980’s. In 1995 Paul founded Admark Advertising, Inc. providing advertising and marketing services to Fall River area businesses. Paul’s commitment to the greater Fall River community was demonstrated by his serving on many boards of directors and volunteering his efforts on behalf of several community organizations. Paul took great joy in supporting his children’s sports activities.

Funeral Information

His funeral will be held Friday at 9AM from the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River, MA with a funeral mass at St. Mary Cathedral, Spring St., Fall River at 10AM.
