Mary M. Fitzsimmons

August 07, 1914 - October 19, 2005

Mary M. (Galligan) Fitzsimmons, passed away in Taunton on October 19, 2005; wife of the late Thomas J, Fitzsimmons.  Born in Providence on Aug 7, 1914; she was a graduate of St Mary’s High School in Taunton.  

Along with her late husband they owned and operated both the Union Hand Laundry and D&F Linen Service both in Taunton. She was is a retired secretary for Raytheon Corp. in the North Dighton facility.

She is survived by one son, Michael Fitzsimmons of Canton and his wife Susan; a daughter-in-law Dorothy Fitzsimmons of Taunton and 3 Grandchildren, Kelly Selander of Milford,MA., Michael Fitzsimmons of Taunton and Kirk Fitzsimmons of Bridgewatrer; 4 great grandchildren, “Wibs”, Thomas and Jack Selander and Catherine Fitzsimmons.

Funeral Information

Calling hours are on Friday, October 21, 2005 from 4-8PM and funeral mass on Saturday October 22, 2005 at 11AM in St Ann’s Church, Raynham,MA.  Interment St Joseph’s Cemetery, Taunton.
