View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Edwin T. Kucharski, 78, of Fairhaven died Monday, March 27, 2006 in Our Lady's Haven, Fairhaven. He was the husband of Dolores (Botelho) Kucharski. Born and raised in Acushnet, the son of the late Andrew and the late Josephine (Cwik) Kucharski, he lived in Lakeville before settling in Fairhaven 27 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Fairhaven.
A graduate of New Bedford Vocational School Mr. Kucharski served in the Navy during WWII and later worked as an insurance broker for Prudential Insurance Co. for many years. He was an avid golfer and member of Heritage Hill Country Club in Lakeville.
He is survived by his wife; a step son, Robert Benoit and his wife Elizabeth of Fairhaven; three step daughters, Donna Blasingame, Carol Fauteux and her husband David and RaeAnn Silva all of Fairhaven a sister, Ann Fredette of Lakeville; eight grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
His funeral will be Thursday, March 30, 2006 at 9:00 AM from the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven at 10:00 AM. Interment in River-Side Cemetery, Fairhaven. Calling hours are Wednesday, March 29, 2006 from 4-8 PM.
