View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – Shirley A. (Sullivan) Palazzi, 71, died suddenly at her home on Saturday, June 16, 2007. Born and educated in Taunton, a daughter of the late Edward and Josephine (Bzdula) Sullivan, she was the wife of Richard Palazzi, to whom she was married fifty-one years.
She was employed as an assembler for more than ten years at Ad A Day in Taunton, and was involved for many years with the family business, Berger’s Café, in the Weir Village She and her husband enjoyed visiting Moheghan Sun and Atlantic City. She was a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church. She was a Red Sox fan and enjoyed cooking every Sunday for her children and beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Palazzi is survived by her children, Susan Provencher and her husband Donald of East Taunton, Lori Gonsalves and her husband David of Taunton, and Richard “Ricky” Palazzzi of Taunton. She was the mother-in-law of the late Donna (Orsi) Palazzi. She was the grandmother of Jason Hebert, Lauren, Jill, Ross, and Corey Palazzi, and Kelly, Lisa and Greg Provencher. She was the sister of the late James Strojny.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Annunciation of the Lord Church on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at 10:00AM. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00PM in the CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton.
