View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – William C. Adams, 76, died in the Life Care Center of Raynham following a short illness Monday, June 16, 2008. Born in Taunton, the son of the late Robert and Evelyn ( Brassell) Adams, he was the husband of Barbara (Lewis) Adams.
Educated in the Taunton Public Schools and a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean Era, Mr. Adams was a working foreman for the T.M.L.P. for over forty years. He enjoyed fishing and tying his own flies, boating, motorcycles, visiting casinos and was well know for doing scrimshaw.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Adams survived by his daughter, Cheryl Bois and her husband Steven of Lakeville, and Debra Shurtleff and her husband Todd of Freetown. He was the grandfather of Michelle Bois and Michael Bois and the great-grandfather of Kayden Reed. He was also the brother of Robert Adams, Jr., and his wife Marcia of East Taunton and the late Allan Richard Adams, and was the uncle and cousin of several.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, June 19, 2008, from 5:00-8:00PM in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton. Interment will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at a later date.
