NEW BEDFORD – Iris Caraballo, 54, of Penniman Street, New Bedford, died on Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Juan and Noemi (Herreia) Caraballo.

She leaves one daughter, Gloria Melendez of New Bedford; and five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at 9:00AM in the DONAGHY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
