TAUNTON – Gordon L. Wilson, 82, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, in Morton Hospital. In Taunton. Born in Boston, the son of the late Edith Sowden, he was the husband of Dorothy M. (Woodward) Wilson.

Mr. Wilson, who was educated in the Fall River Public Schools, enjoyed singing, music, walking, being with his family at holiday gatherings, and always helping people. A long time member of the Winthrop Street Baptist Church, Gordon enjoyed singing in the church choir.

He was the father of Dianna Sylvia and her husband Paul, Linda Ferreira, Rebecca Suizdak and her husband Michael, David Wilson and his companion Maria, Sherry DaCosta and her husband Daniel and Valerie Wilson, all of Taunton. Gordon was the grandfather of thirteen, the great grandfather of twelve, and was also predeceased by one grandson.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Monday, March 15, 2010, at 12:00 Noon. A visiting hour will be held from 11:00 a.m. to noontime, prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
