Christopher D. White

FALL RIVER – Christopher D. White, 46, formerly of Somerset, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 27, 2007. Christopher was born in Fall River, the son of Eleanor (Martin) White of Somerset and the late James F. White.

Mr. White graduated with the Class of 1979 of Somerset High School. He played soccer all four years and was captain of the team his senior year; he also ran indoor and outdoor track. After graduating Chris went to work for himself as a general contractor. He was involved with Karate, earning a black belt, but most importantly to Chris was spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors beside his mother are a son, Mathieu C. White of Rehoboth; two sisters, Kathleen M. White of New York and Elizabeth A. White of Somerset; two bothers, Dr. Stephen P. White of Connecticut and Matthew D. White of Somerset; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Charlene P. White-Gomes.

Funeral Information

His funeral will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at 8:00AM from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME for FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM in Saint Patrick’s Church, 306 South St., Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private the request of the family. Calling hours will be held on Friday in the funeral home from 4:00-7:00PM.
