View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – Angelina (Correia) Pacheco, 81, died Monday, February 9, 2009, in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI, following a period of failing health. She was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Jose da Ponte and Ermelinda do Rosario Pacheco, and has been a resident of Taunton since 1966, making her home on Winthrop Street with her children.
Mrs. Pacheco was a housewife and a mother, who previously had worked at Robertson Curtain Factory and at Corcoran Shoe Co. She enjoyed her garden and flowers.
She was the mother of Natalia C. Pacheco, Fatima C. Pacheco and Manuel C. Pacheco, all of Taunton. She was the sister of the Ermelinda Freitas of CT, and the late Maria De Lurdes Pavao and the late Christina da Conceical Da Ponte Correia, and was the aunt of several nieces and nephews. Angelina was the former wife of the late Manuel S. Pacheco of California.
Funeral Information
Private family funeral services were held in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton, and private family interment services were held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
