Paul A. Pelletier, 69, of County St., Attleboro, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Silva) Pelletier, they were married for over 48 years.
Mr. Pelletier was born, in Attleboro, a son of the late Aldage & Doris (Mercier) Pelletier, and also step son of the late Irene (Winnege) Pelletier. Mr. Pelletier was the Manager of the shipping department of Brainin Advanced Industries where he worked for over 28 years before retiring in 2008.
A lifelong Attleboro Resident he was a former parishioner of St. Stephen’s Church. He was a member of the Gateway Treasure Hunters Club of Wareham, where he searched areas with his metal detector. Paul enjoyed gardening, travelling, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, he was a volunteer at LaSallette Shrine for many years, and liked spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He liked playing cards with his relatives. He also took pride in a clean car.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Paul A. Pelletier and his wife Amy of Attleboro, a daughter Sherrie Pelletier and her significant other Kenneth Ross of Attleboro, 2 brothers Gerard Pelletier of Nashua, New Hampshire, Gordon Pelletier of Onset, MA., 2 sisters his twin Pauline Craige of Attleboro, and Elaine Briggs of Attleboro. He was the grandfather of April, Tiffany, Logan, Emily, Katelyn, and the great grandfather of Abigail, Mickenzy, Rheann, Avery, Anngeli.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00am from the Foley- Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. John the Evangelist Church, North Main St., Attleboro, burial will follow in St. John Evangelist Cemetery, West St., Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours Sunday from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.
