View Tribute and Sign Guestbook ATTLEBORO – Ruth A. Fleming, 80, of Park Street in Attleboro died Thursday, January 17, 2008, in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Born in Tarrytown, NY, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Anna (Arnold) Fleming, she lived most of her life in Attleboro, where she was a graduate of Attleboro High School, and had attended the RI School of Design in Providence.
Ms. Fleming was a supervisor in the sample department of the former Wells Jewelry Company of Attleboro for more than forty years before she retired. She was an avid Bingo player and a calligrapher.
She leaves her sister and caregiver, Ella N. Jacques of Taunton, MA; and her niece and goddaughter, Christine D. Jacques of Barnstable, MA; and three nephews, Robert W. Jacques, Jr., of Taunton, J. Scott Jacques of Attleboro, and Stephen P. Jacques of Dighton; as well as five grand nieces and grand nephews, three great nephews and one great niece. She was the twin sister of the late Lillian Fleming and Robert J. Fleming, Jr.
