Kenton L. Cardoza

Kenton L. Cardoza, 46, of New Bedford died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 in St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford. He was the fiancé of Susan A. Cadieux of New Bedford. Born in New Bedford the son of the late Nancy (Cardoza) Silva, he graduated from New Bedford High School and lived in Hyannis and Boston before settling back in New Bedford. He served in the Army National Guard after high school.

He enjoyed fishing and could usually be found at the Padanaram or the Fairhaven Bridge. He also enjoyed playing pool and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.

He is survived by his fiancé; a daughter, Nancy Cardoza of New Bedford; a step daughter, Nichole A. Fontes of New Bedford; two sisters, Antoinette Silva of Florida and Karen Cardoza Tyree of New Jersey; two brothers, Antonio Silva and Vernon Cardoza both of New Bedford; two granddaughters, Tatiana and Nadiya Vega; two aunts, Jeannette Almeida of New Bedford and Rose Marie Lombard of Harwich; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and his buddies, Oreo, Stray and Sebastian.

His calling hours are Friday from 5-7:30 PM with a service at 7:30 PM in the
Donaghy Funeral Home, 465 County Street, New Bedford. Interment will be private.
