Phyllis Mae (Ardin) Salisbury

ATTLEBORO – Phyllis Mae Salisbury, 82, of Hope Street Extension in Attleboro, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, in the Life Care Center of Attleboro. Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Crook) Ardin, she was the devoted wife of Lester B. Salisbury to whom she was married fifty-nine years.

A lifelong resident of Attleboro, Mrs. Salisbury was a member of the Murray Unitarian-Universalist Church in Attleboro. She was employed as a packer for the L. G. Balfour Company of Attleboro for sixteen years before she retired in 1991.

Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Lester T. and his wife Andrea Salisbury of Orlando, FL, David W. and his wife Linda Salisbury of Seekonk, MA, and Daniel C. and his wife Shannon Salisbury of Attleboro; one daughter, Deborah A. and her husband David Dalpe of Attleboro; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Ronald Salisbury and the sister of the late George Ardin.
