View Tribute and Sign Guestbook WAREHAM – Joyce M. (Grosinsky) Walker, 84, of Middleborough, formerly of Mattapoisett, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, while recovering at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the wife of the late Vincent “Captain Vin” Walker. Born in Alpena, Michigan, the daughter of the late Fred and the late Christine (Boilore) Grosinsky, she moved to Massachusetts in the early 1960s.
Mrs. Walker was a 1st-8th grade teacher for many years, teaching school and life lessons to students, family and friends. She was Past President of the VFW, Fort Phoenix Post 2892 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Roedl and his wife Lisa of Rochester and Steven Roedl and his wife Iva of Middleborough; a sister, Christine Ellsworth of Florida; four grandchildren, Shelley, Ashley, Kimberly and Peter; as well as many nieces and nephews.
