Rosemary (O’Connell) Constantine

Rosemary (O’Connell) Constantine, 91 years old, died on November 8, 2017, in Life Care Center, in Raynham. 

She was born in North Dighton, daughter of the late William and Leona (Sherry) O’Connell.  She had been a resident of North Dighton for over 75 years.  Rosemary was educated in North Dighton Schools and was a retiree of Raytheon Corp. having worked in North Dighton, Northboro, Norwood and Waltham for the Raytheon.  She loved books, chocolate ice cream, the ocean and being with her family.  Rosemary was a former president of the Women’s Guild of St. Joseph’s Church and worked in the kitchen for BINGO, was member of the VFW Auxiliary and was a past president of the Lincoln Village Association. 

She was the mother of Lee Tighe and Brian of Mansfield, Suzanne Constantine of Fall River, Melissa Kingsbury and Brian of Taunton and Peter Constantine and Paula of North Attleboro.  She was the former wife of the late Alvan Constantine.  Rosemary was the sister of Thelma Wentworth of Middleboro and the late Leona Scott, Shirley Meunier and the Reverend William O’Connell.  Rosemary was grandmother of Christopher, Eric, Andrea, Katharine, Bailey, Ashley and Meaghan and the great grandmother of Ryan, Corey, Dayshaun, Tae’Jah, Joshua, Alyson, Finnegan, Nora, Penelope, and Brooks. 

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Nicholas of Myra Church, North Dighton. on Thursday, Nov 16, 2017, at 10:00 AM, after which will be a Celebration of Life gathering at the Taunton Yacht Club, 2125 Water St, Dighton.

Visiting hours will be held in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, on Wednesday, Nov 15, 2017, from 4 to 8 PM.
