Joanne Ruth Ferguson

Mrs. Joanne Ruth Ferguson, 40, of Adairsville, GA passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Floyd Medican Center, Rome, GA.
She was born in Fall River, MA, daughter of Cathy Chambers Sanson and the late John E. Sanson. Mrs. Ferguson was employed as a registered nurse with Harbin Clinic. She was of the Baptist faith and was a cancer survivor, having overcome thyroid cancer in 2008.
Survivors include her husband, David Ferguson of Adairsville, to whom she was married March 13, 1992; a son, David Ferguson Jr., and a daughter, Rebecca Ferguson, both of Adairsville, GA; two sisters, Brenda Panaggio of North Dartmouth, MA, and Mary Mello of Fall River, MA; nieces and nephews, Andrew Panaggio, Joshua Panaggio, Sara Jesus and Lacey Mello; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Susan Ferguson of Adairsville, GA; aunts and uncle, Gloria Honneyman and Pauline Travis of Fall River and Dennis and Hazel Chambers of Livermore, CA; and many cousins.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11 am in the Third Baptist Church in Fall River, MA. Internment was at the Eastview Cemetery, GA.
