View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Veronica V. (Mackey) Faltus, 83, of Fall River passed away on Saturday January 15, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the wife of forty-eight years to the late Richard Faltus.
Veronica was born in Fall River the daughter of the late Christopher and Mona (O’Toole) Mackey. She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1946. Veronica then went onto attend business school locally. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Leechan and Dr. Fielding DDS in Fall River for thirty-one years before retiring in 1993. Mrs. Faltus was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fall River. She was active at one time at the Maplewood Senior center and was an avid candle pin bowler. Mrs. Faltus bowled for many years with local church teams and bowling leagues.
Survivors are a daughter: Sandra A. Foisy and her husband Ernest of Fall River, MA; a son: Richard A. Faltus Jr. of Fall River, MA; two grandchildren: Neil Foisy of Brooklyn, NY; Richard A. Faltus III of Fall River, MA; two great grandchildren: Lydia and Samantha along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anne Vital.
Funeral Information
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 9am from the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Holy Trinity Church 951Stafford Road, Fall River. Internment will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery, Fall River, MA. CALLING HOURS with VIDEO PHOTO ALBUM will be held on WEDNESDAY from 4-7pm
