View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FAIRHAVEN – Pauline Lena (Beland) Herring, 69, of New Boston Road, Fairhaven, died on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at home. Born in Central Falls, R.I., the daughter of the late Charles and Lena Beland, she was the wife of Joseph William Herring, Sr., to whom she was married for forty-five years.
Mrs. Herring was a resident of Fairhaven for the past thirty-four years, where she worked as an assembler for many years for the C. P. Bourg Company, located in the New Bedford Industrial Park. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was also a member of the Fairhaven Senior Center, where she enjoyed spending time with her friends and playing bingo.
Besides her husband, she leaves one son, Joseph William Herring, Jr., of Arizona; two daughters, Karen Ann Herring of New Bedford and Elizabeth Ann Botelho and her husband Danny of Fairhaven; five sisters, Simone Gizler, Theresa Myers, Dorothy Morin, Madeline Ortner, Lena Aissis; two grandchildren, Crystal Herring of New Bedford and Joseph Daniel Botelho of Fairhaven.

Calling hours will be held Monday, August 27, 2007, from 5:00-8:00PM in the FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven, and again on Tuesday morning from 10:00-11:00AM. Burial will be private. For information and directions please go to:www.hathawayfunerals.com or call 508/994-9471.
