RAYNHAM – Cynthia M. (Court) Park, 69, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008, in Morton Hospital, Taunton, after a nine-year period of failing health. Born in Mt Hope Hospital in North Dighton, daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret ( Copeland) Court, she was the wife of Francis Park of Raynham.

Mrs. Park was educated in the Taunton Public Schools and was the bookkeeper for H & H Machine Company in Taunton for more than fifty-two years. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church in Taunton, where she was a former Deaconess and a member of the Choir. She was a former member of the Southeastern Massachusetts Festival Choir, a Rainbow Girl, and a member of the Civic Choir. She enjoyed quilting and doing crafts.

Mrs. Park was the mother of Christine Grispino and her husband Robert of Wallingford, CT, and Melanie Lavoie of Taunton; and the grandmother of Alex and Adam Lavoie of Taunton; and the sister of Arthur Court and his wife Dorothea of Bridgewater, and the late Richard Court and sister-in-law of Carol Court of NH, as well the aunt of several.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in the Union Congregational Church, 265 West Britannia St., Taunton, Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at 2:00PM. Interment will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Monday, December 22, from 4:00-8:00PM in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton.
