FAIRHAVEN – Kathleen "Kelly" Carney, 40, of Fairhaven, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of Constance (Herbert) Carney and the late Brian K. Carney.

Miss Carney enjoyed going to amusements parks, being with her dog, Penny, watching the New England Patriots, and spending time with her family and long-time companion, Albert Farias, Jr.

Besides her mother, she leaves four brothers, Stephen Roberts of Pennsylvania, Martin Roberts of Acushnet, MA, Bernard Roberts of Fairhaven, and Ronald Roberts of Acushnet; two sisters, Mary Nosul of Fairhaven and Susan Ponsart of Acushnet. She was the sister of the late Ernest Roberts. She also leaves two uncles, Shaun Carney and his wife Ann of Marion, MA; and Karl Alvhn of Fairhaven; as well as many other aunts and uncles.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 11:00AM in the FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven, Massachusetts. Calling Hours will be held from 9:30-11:00AM with services to follow. Burial will be private.
