Rita D. (Bombardier) Nadeau

Rita D. (Bombardier) Nadeau, 96, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017, at Morton Hospital. Born in East Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Azelia (Raciocot) Bombardier. She was the wife of the late William Charles Nadeau.
Rita worked as a cook for the Raynham School System and also as a cook for Morton Hospital and later worked for Rand McNally. She was an active member of Holy Family Parish, and member of the Women’s Guild. She was awarded the Marian Medal because of her work and dedication to many charitable organizations. Rita was an avid gardener, enjoyed quilting and crocheting, decorating cakes, playing cards and always enjoyed a great party. Most important to Rita and her mission in life was her FAMILY.
Survivors include one daughter, Anita M. Perry of Sagamore Beach; four sons, Peter C. Nadeau and his wife Margaret of Swansea, William J. Nadeau of Fall River, Orell E. Nadeau of Bridgewater and Carl E. Nadeau of Raynham; four grandchildren Robert Nadeau and his wife Shauna, James Nadeau, Scott Nadeau and his wife Lauryn, and Meredith Nadeau. She also had four great grandchildren, Kailey, Ethan, and twin brothers Jack and Travis. Rita was also mother to the late Paul W. Nadeau and she was predeceased by five brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 9:00 AM, at the Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton, MA, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish, at 10:00. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from 4-7 PM, at Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home.
