SEEKONK – Michael F. Foley, 61, died Saturday, November 1, 2008, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Attleboro, the only son of the late Frank W. & Lillian B. (Parker) Foley, he was a lifelong Seekonk resident, who graduated from Tolman High School and attended Bryant College.

Mr. Foley was an active parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Seekonk, where he served as a collector for many years. He maintained a ministry of writing letters, notes and cards to his family and friends, to members of the church community and everyone in his life.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Hucke and her husband Richard of Long Island, New York; his nieces, Kate Rund, Kendra Hucke and Eileen Hucke; grand-nieces, Trinity and Qyn; and grand-nephews, Logan and Ethan; and was much loved by the members of the Coyle, Parker and Foley Families. He was the uncle of the late Amanda Hucke.

Funeral Information

His funeral will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008, at 8:30AM from the FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 S. Main St., Attleboro, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Mary’s Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk, MA, with burial to follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 5, from 4:00– 7:00PM in the Foley Chapel of the funeral home.
