Rose Alma (Dubois) Carreira

FALL RIVER – Rose Alma (Dubois) Carreira, 81, of Amity Street, Fall River, formerly of Hamlet Street and Tiverton, RI, died on Friday, December 28, 2007, at the Southpointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Clement and Exilia (Ferland) Dubois, she was the wife of the late John Carreira.

Mrs. Carreira had worked as a sewing machine operator for over forty years in the Fall River area. She was a member of Saint Anne’s Church.

She leaves one daughter, Janet Cantelmo of Fall River; one brother, Clement Dubois, Jr., of Fall River; four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Mrs. Carreira was the sister of the late Dorothy LaFleur and Oliver Dubois.
