View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Thomas Joseph Hartnett, 83 0f 27 Weybosset Street, Fall River formerly of Westport died, Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Annette (Antaya) Hartnett. Born September 1, 1922 in Westport, MA he was the son of the late George and Bertha (Wilcox) Hartnett.
Mr. Hartnett worked as a service engineer for 32 years, he had worked for Fall River Gas Company for 22 years retiring in 1985. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, he had been a member of Notre Dame Church in Fall River.
He leaves two sons, James George Hartnett of Fall River and David Paul Hartnett of Fall River, one daughter, Patricia Proulx of Fall River, three grandchildren and one great grand daughter. Mr. Hartnett was the brother of the late Ruth Souza, June Bernard and Rex Wilcox and grandfather of the late Melissa Hartnett.
Funeral Information
His Funeral will be held Monday, April 10, 2006 at 9:00 am from the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River, to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Notre Dame Church, 529 Eastern Avenue, Fall River Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Main Road, Westport. Calling hours will be held Sunday, April 9, 2006 from 5-8 pm in the Funeral Home.
