TAUNTON – Barbara A. (Perkins) Yuill, 74, died on Friday, April 6, 2007, in Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She had been air-flighted from Morton Hospital earlier due to a fall at her home. Born in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Earl and Esther (Harris) Perkins, she was the wife of William J. Yuill for more than forty-nine years.

Mrs. Yuill was educated in the Centerdale (RI) Public School and was a graduate of North Providence High School. She also graduated with the Class of 1951 of Bryant College. Mrs. Yuill was employed as a travel agent for more than fifty years and was the owner of Taunton Travel for over thirty years. She loved traveling, gardening and cooking, and was proud of the fact that she visited six continents.

She was the mother of Craig Yuill and his fiancé Crystal Terra of Taunton; and the grandmother of Christina Moquin and Kimberly Blummer, both of Florida, and Elizabeth Luwanski of Texas; and the great-grandmother of Wyatt Luwanski and Kylie Blummer.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, from 4:00-8:00PM. Funeral and interment services will be held privately at a later time at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
